Mobirise

Blower Door Testing

In Maryland you have to have less than 3 ACH's (air changes per hour) to pass this test.  Average home tests at 7 ACH's or more.

Mobirise

Duct Blast Testing

Tests air leakage of HVAC ducts in unconditioned spaces, like attics.

Section R402.4 Air Leakage (Mandatory) of the 2018 IECC Energy
Conservation Code requires all building contractors to hire a
third-party to test the air leakage of the building envelope. We can
assist you in determining if you meet this requirement, determine an
action plan if air leakage exceeds the requirement, and help with the
“red-tape” if needed.

Section R403.2.2 Sealing (Mandatory) of the 2018 IECC Energy
Conservation Code requires all building contractors to hire a
third-party to test the air leakage of the HVAC duct system being
installed. Again, we can assist you in determining if you meet this
requirement, determine an action plan if air leakage exceeds the
requirement, and help with the “red-tape” if needed.
In addition, we can assist in helping you with numerous other energy
code requirements in force that require the builders attention to detail
when constructing a new home.
